The ritual is focused on washing away both physically and mentally, with the final step being to practice self-love. All products are infused with crystals and flower essence.

Most hair clays use a high amount of alcohol, known to scalp the hair. Alcohol can cause skin itching, dryness, and hair loss. Furthermore, it strips down the hair's natural oils, making it feel dehydrated. Hair wax and gel is a part of many men's standard grooming routine, but can harm the environment, and be harsh for the hair. Most are sold in non-biodegradable plastic tubes or plastic tubs, which often end up in landfills where it stays for hundreds of years and contains toxic ingredients that harm the environment when washed out. 

 

The idea is to create the company "Jellyfish", which creates personalized, eco-friendly hair wax in dissolvable single-use pods. The hair clay is 100% natural, cruelty-free, paraben-free, chemical free and made with no artificial fragrances. It has been mildly scented with essential oil. The hair clay/wax/pomade is crafted using only natural ingredients and takes environmental care when sourcing the most natural ingredients. Each hair clay is made with six simple ingredients that serve the individual's specific hair type, structure, wishes, and preferences. Fewer ingredients enhance transparency for the consumer, while it more easily penetrates the hair follicle, resulting in an all-day treatment for the hair. The consumer takes an online quiz to create a custom formula for the individual. The test finds out the individual's hair type; straight, wavy, or curly hair; the hair structure: fine, medium, or thick; and the hair concerns: Hair loss, dry hair, oily, dull hair, frizzy hair, split ends, color damaged or gray hair. Finally, the consumers choose whether they prefer a light, medium, or strong hold. After the result, the company creates a unique customized hair clay, shipped directly to the consumer's door with natural ingredients and oils that are beneficial for the individual's hair. Components that the hair clay could consist of could be some of the following: 

 

Beeswax: enriched in vitamin A, soothes the scalp, holds the hair

Diatomaceous Earth: natural algae-derived clay fosters hair growth

Jojoba Oil: nutrient rich in vitamins C, B, E

Coconut Oil: promotes longer, thicker hair

Natural Essential Oils: Tea Tree, Bergamot, Lavender, Lime 

Natural Botanical Extracts: Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Honeysuckle, Sunflower

Peppermint Oil: The topical application of peppermint oil on bald spots can help regrow hair naturally.

Rosemary Oil: Another essential oil with proven hair growth benefits is rosemary oil.

The hair clay comes in single-dose water-soluble pods and is the first product of its kind. The clays are on a water-free liquid base, but once it is mixed with the water, it turns into hair clay, and the pod dissolves.
